New York State Police at Binghamton need your help locating the suspect responsible for an armed robbery at the Xtra Mart.


Police say that around 8:52 Monday evening a man entered the Xtra Mart on Front Street in the Town of Chenango, displayed a handgun demanding money from the clerk and then made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing sunglasses and a sweatshirt the with hood pulled tightly over his face to conceal his identity.


But he is described as a clean shaven white male with a medium build, believed to be in his 20's.
