The Bearcats conference play has been much better than the rest of the season, 3-7 in the America East and seventh out of nine teams.

In ten conference games, they've lost two by 10 points. Four by single digits including overtime against New Hampshire and Tuesday's one point loss to Hartford. They've beaten Maine, UMBC, and UMass Lowell. Despite the win-loss record, BU is riding high into the weekend.

"I think our confidence is fine. I think we've played, even in some of our losses, we've played some pretty good basketball. We had the overtime loss with New Hampshire who was playing well, really tight game where we took the lead late against Stony Brook and then the one point loss to Hartford and then a couple wins in there. So, I think over these last few weeks we've played an overall good stretch of basketball and that always gives you confidence, said Head Coach Tommy Dempsey."

The Bearcats play Maine tomorrow at 1 pm.
