If you haven't done your taxes yet now is certainly the time and the county is offering help.

Free income tax assistance is available at several locations in Broome County starting Monday until April 15th.

The assistance program is designed for taxpayers with middle and low incomes with special attention for people 60 and older.

All you've got to do is bring in the appropriate forms: W-2's, charity donations, receipts and a copy of your 2013 income tax returns.

Walk-in appointments can be made at the George F. Johnson library in Endicott, the Oakdale mall and the Vestal United Methodist Church.

Scheduled appointment sites are at the Broome County Library and Senior Center sites in Binghamton, Endwell, Johnson City and Whitney Point.
