Jury selection continues Monday for the third murder trial of Cal Harris, the man accused of murdering his estranged wife Michele in September of 2001.

Monday will mark day 6 of jury selection. So far, 12 jurors and two alternates have been selected. Twelve jurors will be seated for the trial, but the court is continuing with jury selection on Monday to secure more alternates. The judge is predicting that the trial could last between 6 and 8 weeks, with a potential witness list that stretches over 100 individuals.

The number of those able to serve as jurors or alternate jurors has dwindled, after many were released for hardship reasons.

If more alternates are chosen Monday, opening arguments could begin on Tuesday.
