Walton Man Accused of Strangling Woman
A Walton man has been accused of strangling a female victim, according to the Delaware County District Attorney's Office.
According to the office, on November 3, 39-year-old Jared Lambrecht allegedly choked a female victim with the intention of impeding her ability to breath. It is further alleged that the defendant thereby caused stupor, loss of consciousness or other physical injury.
This charge is part of a five count indictment returned by a Delaware County Grand Jury on December 12.
The second count of the indictment accused Lambrecht of Assault in the second degree.
Meanwhile the third, fourth, and fifth indictment accuses him of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
If convicted of the strangulation charge, he faces up to seven years in prison and three years of post-release supervision.
If convicted of the assault charge, he again faces seven years in prison, and three years of post-release supervision.
