Susquehanna SPCA Hosts Holiday Pajama Party
The Susquehanna Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals hosted a special holiday pajama party today to celebrate the holiday season.
For those who adopted an animal in their holiday pajamas today, the adoption fees were waived. Visitors also got the chance to celebrate the holidays with the SPCA by enjoying some hot cocoa and hanging out with the animals.
"A lot of these animals, they're coming from kind of the worst of the worst situations," Director of Operations for Susquehanna SPCA Erica Ylitalo said. "A lot of them maybe they had, you know, a loving home previously that their owner just could no longer take care of them anymore. So for them to be able to go to a home, even if it's just a foster home, but an adoptive home to to spend, you know, Christmas on the couch instead of a kennel, that's really great for us, too. Don't forget our kitty friends, too."
