Webinar Helps Front Line Workers With Burn Out And Stress

The Family Violence Prevention Center is helping front line workers make sure they have a fresh start going into the fall season through a webinar.
Coordinator Kristen Beylo says the webinar will focus on helping Broome County's essential workers and those who have been working non-stop since the pandemic began.
Professionals with the Greater Binghamton Health Center and the Rural Health Network of South Central New York will be giving tips on the best practices for burn out, compassion fatigue, and stress management.
"It's just normal and that's okay," said Beylo. "We've got to talk about it. Especially going into the Fall, that's usually kind of a fresh start for everyone."
Beylo says there will be special "cute mug challenge" during the webinar with prizes.
The "2020 Refresh" Webinar is free and will take place on August 19 at 10 am.
To register, you can email Kristen Beylo at Kristen.Beylo@BroomeCounty.us to receive a confirmation email with the webinar link.
