New York State Police arrested Gloria A. Laureanti, age 77 of Roxbury, NY, after four counts of the felony Menacing a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest, as well as Vincent Brower, age 26 of Roxbury, NY with the felonies of Rape in third degree and Criminal Sex Act in the third degree and the misdemeanor of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Laureanti pulled two revolvers on the troopers when they arrived at her home, the troopers pulled their weapons and Laureanti immediately dropped her revolvers which were later identified as cap guns.

Laureanti resisted arrest but was ultimately taken into custody.
