New York - Tim Tebow will be back at the New York Mets major league camp in Port St. Lucie, Florida, in February for his third season with the team. The Mets announced their 2019 non-roster invitees Thursday afternoon and Tim Tebow made the cut.

Tebow hit .273 with six home runs and 36 RBIs in 84 games with Binghamton before breaking his hand in July.

Thirteen minor league players were invited, five of them still technically on the Rumble Ponies roster.

Tim Tebow, Andres Gimenez, Stephen Villines, Patrick Mazeika and Ryder Ryan. Former Rumble Pony and Mets top prospect, Peter Alonso has also been invited to spring training.

Pitchers and Catchers report to spring training on Tuesday, February 12 while position players will arrive Wednesday, February 20.
