New Start-Up NY Business Coming to BU

The state has announced 16 new businesses as part of the Start-Up New York program, including one coming to Binghamton University.
The program offers new businesses areas on or near SUNY campuses that are tax-free for 10 years. The company coming to Binghamton University is SensAttire, LLC. It has a proprietary flexible electronic fabric it uses in the medical, athletic, home, and industrial markets. The state says it will invest over $3,000,000 and add 21 jobs. The state says the Start-Up NY Program has created about 4,300 jobs.
