Thanksgiving came a little early for some Susquehana Valley senior citizens.

today as students from Richard T. Stank Middle School, put on their gloves to serve turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie and other traditional Thanksgiving treats to the community's senior citizens. The students do this every year as a token of appreciation and to give back to the senior members of the community.

"We think this is a great opportunity to invite seniors into our school to meet our students, see what they do on a daily basis, its a great opportunity for the students to see the seniors who are out there and support us on a daily basis as well."said Natalie Brubaker, Middle School Principal

"You get like a reputation, you know for helping the elderly." said Lucas Underhill an 8th grader. In addition to serving a thanksgiving spread, a group of students played a collection of songs in a clarinet quartet.
