In Our "Five Questions" Segment We Speak With A Top Local Dem
Jim Testani, the head of the Broome County Democratic Party, answered Fox 40's Five Questions. He said he is not discouraged by recent polls showing that Democrat Barbara Fiala is behind by 28 points in her race for a vacant Senate Seat against Republican Fred Akshar.
Testani also says the idea that Fiala gave herself a pay raise is misrepresented by the Akshar team. He noted that the famed picture of Fred Akshar with facial hair used in ads by Team Fiala came from Facebook.
Testani also showed his knowledge of the US Government system by accurately answering a question about whether a US Speaker of the House has to have been born in the United States to hold the job.
We must note that Testani, a baseball fanatic, made some comments about the New York Mets' playoff run.
