Autopsies reveal what caused the deaths of two Oneonta residents whose bodies were found outside a home in the Town of Oneonta this past weekend.


Forensic Pathologist, Dr. James Terzian has ruled the death of 44-year-old Tifanne Wells a homicide caused by two gunshot wounds and the death of 51-year-old George Jones a suicide caused by a self inflicted gunshot wound.


Authorities arrived at the County Highway 47 residence at approximately 8:30am Sunday morning after receiving a call from a concerned party.


Police believe the incident occurred late Saturday afternoon and the investigation is ongoing.
