BU is at is again! This time they're getting kids interested in engineering and sciences.

The University holds it's final day of Engineer's week which features events and activities created by BU student groups. Projects include an egg drop, toothpick towers, popsicle stick bridges, and showcases of African American scientists in honor of Black History month.

All the activities and showcases were free to the public.

Lisa Altma of Watson Industrial Outreach said, "I really like seeing out students sharing their excitement and their knowledge of science and technology with some of the younger kids. Engineers have such an impact on the world. They do so many different things and this is a way to get kids excited about science, technology, engineering and math."

Engineers week is held the last week of February each year.

This year visitors were doubled compared to last year's event.
