Stolen Vehicle Arrests, Town of Dryden
Two men are in custody after police say they stole a vehicle from a Town of Dryden driveway early Tuesday morning.
26-year-old Johnathon Reynolds of Ithaca, NY and 20-year-old Zackery Swansbrough of Dryden are charged with criminal possession of stolen property, a class D felony. On Tuesday morning at approximately 3:30, area police responded to a call from a victim who said she witnessed her vehicle being removed from her driveway in the Town of Dryden. Dryden Police, along with Tomkins County Sheriffs and Tompkins Cortland Community College Police located the vehicle in the route 13 area between Dryden and Cortland. After briefly losing sight of the car and relocating it, patrols eventually followed the vehicle in the Town of Lapeer in Cortland County. Both Reynolds and Swansbrough were taken into custody without incident. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
