1) FOX 40 News at Ten is seeking a full-time nightside editor

Duties include: editing local and national news for our 10:00 PM broadcast; searching and managing story archives; sending video to on-air playout server; downloading and uploading video to affiliate servers; editing reporter packages on occasion.

This individual will also perform a studio production role during the broadcast (tape operator, audio, cg operator, studio camera).

This position requires someone who can work well under pressure, is able to meet deadlines, is reliable, self-sufficient and is a great team player.

Candidates must have experience with non-linear editing.

Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Inscriber CG, Photoshop, Live Type,
Autocue strongly preferred.

You will also oversee the studio production team, direct and edit news teases and create over-the-shoulder graphics.

Knowledge of Autocue, 360 Systems play-to-air server, Echolab MV59, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Inscriber CG a plus!

Internships

We offer internships year-round (Fall, Winter, Summer,  & Spring Semesters).  Interns will assist with the the production of the 10 o'clock evening broadcast.  Duties will range from (but are not limited to) assisting / shadowing reporters with field and inhouse work, filing, data input and research for pursuing stories.
